Ken Griffey Jr. is headed back to the Seattle Mariners!
February 19, 2009Apparently it is so, Ken Griffey Jr. is indeed headed back to the Seattle Mariners to likely end his storied career in professional major league baseball. This is good news to a lot of folks and should give the city and it’s crumbling sports base a boost. Good luck Mr. Griffey!
Too bad money led Alex Rodriguez out of town and into eventually juicing his way out of the record books. I recall his days in Seattle and running into him in a Belltown-area dance club and a gal kicking him out of her seat. He was a gentleman about it, but you can’t help but wonder WTF he was thinking with the roids and all of that… For some folks, you can have it all and it still isn’t good enough.
