Moral bankruptcy…

It’s as broke as one can get. So low that you have to reach up to touch bottom, as mom used to say. Monetary bankruptcy (as fun and exciting as that can be) doesn’t hold a stick to the morally bankrupt because money can be made and lost and then made right back again infinity. Not so with your soul. Once it’s lost it’s almost impossible for most folks to reclaim it and lead a healthy and happy existence from then on out. A criminal is a criminal, always will be. A murderer is a murderer, always will be. You can’t polish a turd. Once you’ve crossed that line you’re generally done for… And that, ma’am, is just the facts.
